Revenge Of The Wildcat: Northeastern at New Hampshire

UNH Audio | UNH Video (pay) | UNH Live Game Stats

One year ago New Hampshire suffered a heartbreaking loss at Northeastern after John Sperrazza connected with Kendrick Ballantyne for a 20 yard score on 4th and 5. Northeastern went for 2 and won the game 36-35.

Under normal circumstances man would expect New Hampshire to come out flying Saturday looking to solidify their playoff hopes while getting some revenge. Early in the week many were predicting huge UNH blowouts but the changing weather could keep the scores down.

Hurricane Noel is tearing up the east coast and is expected to dump rain and heavy winds on the New Hampshire coast Saturday which could turn the Santos air attack into a ground game.

Either way you got to like New Hampshire's chances against a 1-7 Northeastern squad especially after the way the defense played last week against Rhode Island, they will have extra motivation to perform well.

Early prediction: UNH 52 Northeastern 17
Current prediction: UNH 35 Northeastern 14

Game updates in the comments Saturday.
