NESN Hires New Reporter

NESN has found a replacement for Tina Cervasio, and it should make many guys around Red Sox Nation happy.

Ladies and Gentlemen, meet Miss California Heidi Watney.

Red over at Surviving Grady is very happy with the choice:

"Not that she'll erase Tina C from my memory banks. Because that just ain't gonna happen. But the sight of Ms. Watney trolling the Fenway green will almost certainly take the sting out of even the most horrific loss."

Also in the news, Gordon Edes is reportedly leaving the Boston Globe. Edes will be joining Yahoo Sports as a national baseball writer. This saddens me a bit as I really enjoy Edes' writing, but I look forward to reading his articles from a national standpoint.
